Where your posts go

The free check
The posts you paste are read by code running in your browser. They are not sent anywhere for the check, and it keeps working with the network off once the page has loaded.
When you press Get the Signed Brief, this browser keeps a copy of the paste in its local storage, so the brief page can find it after Stripe sends you back. It stays in this browser until you press Clear the Pad or clear this site's data. Nothing else is stored in your browser: no cookies, no identifiers.
The paid brief
The brief page posts the CSV to one server function, which reads it, builds the brief and sends it back. Our code writes it to no database, file or log. The hosting platform, Vercel, records each request's address and time; the address carries the Stripe session id, never the CSV.
Stripe
Payments are taken by Stripe, which handles your card and billing details under its own privacy policy; we never see the card. With each payment we give Stripe the SHA-256 of your CSV, its row count, the brand name, the two counts the check printed, and how many times the brief has been built. Of the text in your posts, Stripe receives the brand name and nothing else.
What this site does not do
No analytics, no advertising, no third-party scripts and no fonts from another host. No account, no email list. Nothing is sold or shared.
Your requests
Because the posts are not stored, the records about you are Stripe's payment records. To see, correct or delete them, write to [[CONTACT EMAIL NEEDED]]; we answer within 30 days, and California and EU residents have these rights by law. Data protection contact and establishment: [[ENTITY NEEDED]].
